I can't be bothered...

Bali bali bali. I believe a I’m slowly falling in love. There is so much intoxicating romance here! It could be the humidity, it could be the calming, rhythmic chirp of insects...I’m not really sure. But it makes me sleepy here. Not the “well, let’s just take a nap then...” kind of sleepy. It goes deeper than that. I can’t be bothered with stress here. It’s such an unfamiliar sensation. I tried to worry about something earlier today. I think it was about writing this update, or buying a plug adapter to charge the camera...something.....but what was fascinating was that I couldn’t get stressed about it. I just....couldn’t be bothered. It would get done. Or it wouldn’t. But whether or not it did, didn’t really matter. Yeah, that’s what it’s like here.

I got up about 6am. There were roosters cockle doodle dooing. I showered outside under a light warm breeze as the sun rose. Peace...full. Had a cup coffee and ate mangostene & passion fruit with Sara, another grad student here. Chatted and laughed a bit. Maybe I will swim in the ocean tomorrow.
